Emerald Fennell was the showrunner and an executive producer for Killing Eve's second season. She took over from Phoebe Waller-Bridge and was replaced by Suzanne Heathcote for the third season.

Biography[]
Fennell was born in London on October 1, 1985 to jewellery designer Theo Fennell and author Louise MacGregor. She has one sister, Coco Fennell. Emerald want to Marlborough College and went on to study English at Oxford University, where she acted in university plays. Lindy King of United Agents spotted her in one of those plays, marking the start of her acting career.
In 2019, she took over from Phoebe Waller-Bridge as showrunner for the second season of hit drama Killing Eve. She started writing for the show before the first season premiered, unaware of the success it would become.[1]
