Jodie Comer portrays Villanelle on Killing Eve.
Biography
Jodie is a British actress who recently made her US debut in the Starz 8-episode mini-series, The White Princess. The White Princess is a sequel to the mini-series, The White Queen, and based on the novel of the same name by Philippa Gregory. Comer plays the lead role of Elizabeth of York, daughter of Edward IV of England and Elizabeth Woodville, and wife of Henry VII and mother of Henry VIII. The White Princess premiered on Starz on April 16, 2017.
Comer also appeared in the BBC AMERICA / BBC Three mini-series Thirteen, as the lead role of Ivy Moxam, a 26-year old woman who escapes from the cellar where she had been imprisoned for 13 years. The series premiered on BBC Three in the UK on February 28, 2016 and subsequently aired on BBC AMERICA in the US on June 23, 2016. Comer earned a BAFTA TV Award nomination and an RTS Programme Award nomination for her performance in Thirteen.
